Guide to "Search Reports" and "Search News"
Please read it carefully and use it for accurate and reliable "finding" of the target report.

  • "Select Automakers" and "Select Parts Makers"
    • Manufacturers that are not displayed cannot be selected.
    • Company names are as of the time of upload to WATT's website. Select or search for former company names using the former name.
    • Group and head office information is categorized by the country where the group's head office is located.
    • In principle, information on local subsidiaries and affiliates is categorized by the country (only) where the local company is located.
    • "CLOSE" clears information displayed.
    • "CLEAR Selection" deletes checked selection.
    • How to Select
      1. First, click "Region Name."
      2. Next, check the "Country Name" checkbox.
      3. The display is in character code order (symbol, number, alphabetical order).
      4. Check the appropriate "automaker's name" or "parts maker's name". Several names may be checked (search using "or").
      5. The total number of parts manufacturers displayed is considerable. Please make sure that you check the right one when you select.
  • "Select Countries and Areas"
    • "CLOSE" clears information displayed.
    • "CLEAR Selection" deletes checked selection.
    • How to Select
      1. Click on the region that contains your country of interest.
        The definition of "Region" is as follows.
        World: Reports covering the entire world.
        North & Central America: Reports classified as "World" have no parallel notation with other regions.
        Latin America: Reports covering the US, Canada, Mexico, and Central American countries.
        Europe: Reports covering European countries.
        Asia: Reports covering Asian countries.
        Africa: Reports covering African countries.
        Oceania: Reports covering Oceanian countries.
        Middle East: Reports covering Middle Eastern countries.
      2. Select country (Several countries may be selected).
        • "General" at the beginning indicate reports that cover the entire region.
        • The list starts with important countries followed by other countries in alphabetical order.
  • Date Range
    • Indicates the date published in WATT weekly.
  • Sort Settings
    • Displayed results: Please select from "20, 40, 60, 80, 100."
    • Display order: "Newest" refers to the date published in WATT weekly. The newest items are displayed from the top in the order of the newest date.
    • "Oldest" refers to the date published in WATT weekly. The oldest items are displayed from the top in the order of the oldest date.
  • Search Reset
    • After completing selection, click the "Search" button.
    • Click "Reset" to start over.
